Yes. During the replacement the electrical supply will need to be isolated. We'll explain the expected downtime before work starts and restore power as soon as testing has been completed.

"Will I receive a certificate?"

Yes. Every qualifying installation is supplied with an Electrical Installation Certificate and Part P Building Regulations notification where required.
